Brian Clare has worked in a variety of roles in the healthcare industry. Brian began their career as an Emergency Physician at Williamsburg Emergency Physicians in 1997. In 2001, they became the Chief Executive Officer of Practice Management Associates, where they developed technology and processes to more accurately capture revenue for ED physicians and ED departments. In 2012, they joined ivWatch, LLC as the Chief Medical Officer, and in the same year, they became the Vice President of Revenue Cycle Management at Tsystem. In 2013, they became a Board Member at Nudge and a Board of Directors and Chairman of the Executive Board of Directors at World Pediatric Project. In 2016, they co-founded CareTeam and became a Clinical Advisor.
Brian Clare completed their Doctor of Medicine (MD) from St George's University School of Medicine in 1984. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science (MS) in Immunology from Old Dominion University in 1980. Brian began their academic journey in 1972 when they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biology, General from Hampden-Sydney College.
