Jay Paris has worked in a variety of roles since 2013. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as a Planetarium Operator at the John C. Wells Planetarium, where they operated a state of the art digital and analog system, taught children and adults about stars and planets beyond Earth, and presented intellectual star talks while showing an accurate night sky in an understandable, entertaining way. From 2015 to 2016, they worked as a Biomedical Engineer at Old World Labs. In 2016, they joined ivWatch, LLC, where they have served as a Production Manager, Business Analyst, and Customer Support Specialist. In their role as Customer Support Specialist, Jay has answered technical questions customers have about ivWatch products and provided solutions when problems arise, as well as assisted in the training of clinicians on the proper ways to use ivWatch products.
Jay Paris attended Norfolk Academy from 1996 to 2009, where they earned their High School Diploma. Jay then attended James Madison University from 2009 to 2015, graduating with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biology/Biological Sciences, General.
