IVY Underwriting is a London-based specialty insurance underwriter delivering sharper coverage across property, cyber, and political violence lines.

We were built on a simple premise: specialty insurance deserves better. Better risk selection, better data infrastructure, and a better experience for the brokers and capacity partners we work with.

Our underwriting is informed by geospatial analytics, catastrophe modelling, and enriched submission data, but the foundation is underwriting judgment, not algorithms. We focus on lines where technical capability and disciplined risk selection create a genuine edge.

Our products include Commercial Property (All Risk), Flood, Named Windstorm, Strikes Riots & Civil Commotion, Sabotage & Terrorism, Active Assailant, and Cyber.

We prioritise speed, clarity, and consistency because brokers and their clients shouldn't have to choose between rigorous underwriting and an efficient placement experience.
