Peter Vu

Peter Vu has been in the tech industry since 2014. Peter began their career as a PHP Developer at SmartOSC, where they were responsible for developing e-commerce websites, mainly working with Magento. In 2015, they moved to Paymentwall, Inc. as a Technical Lead, where they designed, developed, and managed Mobile Payment products, as well as integrating new Mobile Processor Partners all over the world. Peter also developed satellite microservices to support main products and reviewed team members’ code. In 2018, Peter Vu began working at Offspring Digital as a Team Leader, where they designed high availability, well-secured, easy-to-maintain systems for clients. Peter also communicated directly with clients, received requirements, analyzed them, and briefed tasks to team members. Peter was experienced with various stacks like Nodejs, Reactjs, PHP, Angular, Ruby on rails, Mysql, Postgresql, MongoDB, Redis, and more. In the same year, they began working at IVY as a Technical Lead, where they researched new technologies and applied them to projects based on product requirements. Peter also optimized code so it could handle a large amount of connections, monitored systems, created disaster plans to ensure availability, and managed servers set up in AWS. In 2021, Peter Vu began working at Hamptons Life as a Technical Lead.

Peter Vu obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering from FPT University in 2014. Peter has also earned a certification in AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in 2021.
