Who we are
Iwanski Architecture is the Canadian extension of Iwanski Goebel Architekten, established in Hamburg, Germany in 1997.
The core team of John Iwanski and Elke Goebel have worked together for over 20 years, complementing each others skills, designing projects in Germany, Canada and the USA.
Our European design sensibility permeates all our work - creative, responsive, efficient.

What we offer
Our firm focus is on educational, cultural, residential and commercial projects of all sizes - new construction and renovations
Our team is creative, experienced and energetic. We approach each opportunity with respect and commitment.
We enjoy collaborating with other members of the design community. Synergy between disciplines nurtures fecundity.
Our services include all phases of the building process from the nascent, initial spark to the follow-up visit after project completion.

What we believe
Good design is healthy, valuable and makes all our lives richer.
Good design inspires. Good design stimulates.
The client's contribution is as important to the design process as the design team's input.
A collaborative, integrated design approach results in good design that is better than the sum of its parts.
Because each design opportunity is unique, each solution requires its own approach.
