iWater (Pty) Ltd (iWater) is a dynamic technology company focused on the management of metabolic microbial dynamics (i.e. bacterial systems), which represents the new wave associated with the treatment of pollutants. The company’s vison is to use scientific knowledge to restore/clean-up natural resources for future generations.
The core competence of iWater is environmental remediation with an emphasis on the integration of biological and novel chemical, even physical, solutions, which are much underutilized in the South African context. This together with the chosen partnerships, sole supplier agreements and know-how iWater creates a competitive edge with tailor-made site-specific implementations.
iWater already has a prominent client base and are leading effective solution development for mining and industrial clients. Esta van Heerden and Heidi Snyman lead the company with years of experience and know-how in these fields and with a uniquely qualified staff contingent it positions iWater to fill a niche market in environmental remediation.
iWater also uses a strong alliance with Geosyntec Consultants Inc, USA a leading provider of environmental and bio-remediation solutions. This alliance will give further impetus to the implementation of proven technologies and solutions (not just through the application of new and existing bio-solutions, but also through multi-disciplinary approaches).
The business model is focused on a vertical coordination approach whereby iWater owns intellectual property, applications, solutions and created a vehicle with carefully selected partners to execute and implement remedial solutions.
iWater provides:
Expert environmental monitoring and consultancy.
Develops, verifies, and implements customized solutions using the latest international technologies and practices.
iWater completes the value chain with its precision engineering design and implementation using our own data sets, while operating and maintaining these site solutions.
