The IWK Foundation is a not-for-profit organization that raises funds to support IWK Health—the largest pediatric hospital and trauma centre in Atlantic Canada. IWK Health is also one of only two health centres in Canada that cares for both women and children.

As the primary fundraising partner with IWK Health, we want to ensure Maritime women, children, and families needing the advanced and specialized care of IWK Health have access to the highest level of care possible.

The funds raised through the generosity of our donor community help fund the IWK's areas of greatest need, including purchasing new and advanced medical equipment, funding leading-edge research, and upgrading care spaces and technology.

The IWK Foundation is guided by the Association of Fundraising Professionals Code of Ethics. We are committed to transparency and accountability to the public, our donors, and those who benefit from our fundraising activities.
