Ben May

Ben May is currently a Senior Legal Counsel at BDO UK LLP, having transitioned from Legal Counsel in 2022. Previously, they were a Senior Associate at Foot Anstey LLP from 2008 to 2015, where they specialized in various commercial disputes, including professional negligence and banking litigation. Between 2016 and 2020, Ben served as a Senior Associate at Herbert Smith Freehills, and also worked as Senior Counsel for Commercial & Product Litigation at BAT from 2020 to 2021. Ben began their legal career as a Trainee Solicitor and Litigation Paralegal at Follett Stock from 2006 to 2008, and holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) and a Legal Practice Course from the University of Exeter, completed between 2001 and 2005.
