Leo Chen

Leo Chen is an accomplished design and innovation leader currently serving as the Principal and Director of Design at Shifter Design, where they oversee numerous projects and initiatives. They are also the Founder of the Green Design Network and Factory HTX, which provide support for makers and startups in the Houston area. Leo has held various roles, including Executive Director of RISE Collective, where they organize community events and festivals such as the Lunar New Year celebration. Leo has previously worked as Lead Product Designer at Luminess Air and contributed to the design of medical devices at PROTOSTAR ENGINEERING INC. They earned a B.S. in Industrial Design from the University of Houston and participated in Y Combinator's Startup School in 2022.
