Aaron Reams has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of software engineering and architecture.

Aaron began their career in 2000 as a Software Engineer at Servotronix Motion Control, where they worked for six months before moving on to Intovoice as a Software Engineer. Aaron then joined Interval in 2001 as a Software Engineer and worked there for two years.

In 2004, Aaron Reams joined Become as a Senior Software Engineer and was responsible for designing and implementing a Merchant Dashboard web application. Aaron worked there for three years before transitioning to Owners Advantage in 2007. At Owners Advantage, they served as a Software Architect and was responsible for the full SDLC of the production system. Aaron also implemented C# MVC Web API and client-side databinding, attended SEO conferences, and carried out extensive integration with Google Maps and Google Adwords API. Aaron worked at Owners Advantage for six years.

In 2014, Aaron Reams joined Information Technology Works, Inc. as a Software Architect. Aaron led the technical team and designed a unified multi-tenant ASP.Net MVC Angular web app. Aaron also implemented various custom integrations and managed DevOps and CI/CD infrastructure. IT Works was subsequently acquired by Cayuse LLC, where Aaron continued to work as a Software Architect for eight months before transitioning to CloudRazor in 2018. At CloudRazor, they held the role of Software Architect for four years.

In 2022, Aaron Reams joined Panzura as a Senior Software Engineer. Aaron was involved in developing OpenAPI/Swagger based web API, implementing serverless Go solutions on Google Cloud, and migrating legacy apps to React.js. Aaron also contributed to improving developer productivity by implementing Storybook for React UI components.

Currently, Aaron Reams works at IXL Learning as a Senior Software Engineer, starting in 2023.

Aaron Reams attended Virginia Tech from 1996 to 1999, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science. In 2015, they obtained additional certifications from Microsoft, including MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional and MS: Programming in C#.
