Senior Language Arts Curriculum Designer at IXL Learning

Alexandra Davalos has a diverse range of work experience. Alexandra started their career as a Bilingual Navigator at Carolina Conexiones - UNC in August 2016 and worked there until December 2017. In September 2015, they joined LatinxEd where they served as a Mentor, Site Coordinator, and Scholar Instructor until May 2019. From August 2018 to May 2019, they worked as a Student Teacher at North Chatham Elementary School. In August 2019, they became a 4th Grade Dual Language Teacher at Durham Public Schools and held this position until June 2020. Since June 2020, they have been working as a Language Arts Curriculum Designer at IXL Learning.

Alexandra Davalos pursued their higher education at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. From 2014 to 2018, they completed their Bachelor's degree with a major in Hispanic Linguistics and Economics. Later, in 2018-2019, they furthered their studies and obtained a Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) from the same institution.
