Dean Willms

Dean Willms has a diverse range of work experience. Dean is currently working at IXL Learning as a Senior Content Production Specialist, where they previously held the position of Content Production Specialist. Prior to that, they worked as a Freelance Animator and Content Creator, where they were self-employed. Dean also worked as an SLS Model Finisher at Protolabs. In addition, Dean has experience working as a Media Project Contractor at THE POINT CHURCH, where they were involved in various projects such as videography, photography, animation, graphic design, and website and app updates. Dean also played a role in launching a new app for the church. Dean's educational background includes studying Simulation and Game Design at William Peace University, where they developed skills in game design, 3D modeling, rigging, animation, and writing. Dean also had internships as a Videographer Intern at THE POINT CHURCH, where they edited videos and worked on motion graphics, and as a Visual World Investigative Lab Intern at the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences, where they assisted with educational activities and developed an Augmented Reality project.

Dean Willms completed a Certificate of Completion in Character Animation from Animation Mentor in the year 2021. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Simulation and Game Design from William Peace University, which they completed between the years 2015 and 2018.
