Jacob Perry

Jacob Perry has a diverse work experience that spans various roles in the field of education. Jacob started their career as a High School Math Teacher at the Wake County Public School System in 2011 and later moved to the Burke County Public Schools in 2012. Following their teaching experience, Jacob pursued their PhD and worked as a PhD Candidate at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2013 to 2018. Jacob then worked as a Visiting Assistant Professor at Wake Forest University from 2018 to 2019 and High Point University from 2019 to 2020. Currently, Jacob is employed as a Senior Math Curriculum Designer at IXL Learning.

Jacob Perry received their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mathematics with Honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2010. Jacob then pursued their Master of Arts (MA) in Education at Wake Forest University from 2010 to 2011. Eventually, Perry earned their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mathematics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2018.
