Jingwei Ye

Jingwei Ye is a software engineer with extensive experience in developing algorithms and integrating machine learning models. Currently employed at IXL Learning since April 2023, Jingwei focuses on creating content-creation algorithms for adaptive educational questions. Prior experience includes a role at Amazon from July 2022 to April 2023, working on the Product Graph, and a position at Apple in summer 2021, where Jingwei integrated machine learning models onto platforms. Academic contributions encompass research assistant roles at The University of British Columbia, addressing the cold start problem in recommender systems, and at Lund University's Faculty of Engineering, extracting Deterministic Finite Automata from Recurrent Neural Networks. Additionally, Jingwei has experience as a Java Developer with MEIYA PICO. Jingwei holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from New York University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from The University of British Columbia.
