Matthew Hall

Matthew Hall has extensive work experience in software development and management roles. Matthew started their career at Butler Commerce Solutions as a Software Engineer and later became a Consulting Software Engineer where they were responsible for developing, training, and supporting a J2EE B2B eCommerce package. Matthew also worked directly with customers on various projects and provided assistance in areas such as database migrations, application integration, graphics, and web design.

Matthew then joined ARCHIBUS Solution Centers as a Software Engineer, where they added custom enhancements to the space management software package and developed an XML-based module for integrating conference room appliances with the room scheduling system.

After that, Matthew returned to Butler Commerce Solutions as a Senior Enterprise Application Developer, where they played a crucial role in developing a Java-based mission-critical route accounting system for wholesale distributors and an Apple iOS based retail execution package. Matthew designed and developed new features and integration points to enhance client business operations.

Matthew later worked at Intervolve as a Consulting Senior Software Engineer, where they provided consulting services and contributed to the development of software solutions. Matthew then joined IXL Learning as a Senior Development Manager, where they oversee development projects.

Prior to that, they studied Computer Science at the University of North Carolina Wilmington from 1999 to 2001. In 2016, Matthew attended LearningTree for a course in SQL Server Analysis Services for Business Intelligence, although no degree was obtained.
