Michael Peabody serves as the Lead Psychometrician at IXL Learning since May 2023 and holds a dual appointment as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Kentucky in Educational Psychology and Educational Policy Studies and Evaluation since January 2019. Previously, Michael was the Senior Manager and Senior Psychometrician at the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy from October 2019 to April 2023, where responsibilities included managing the Psychometrics & Research team and coordinating with the test development team. Prior roles include Senior Psychometrician at The American Board of Family Medicine, where services encompassed all aspects of psychometrics, and earlier positions focused on institutional research and SACS accreditation at the University of Kentucky and KCTCS. Michael Peabody earned a Ph.D. in Educational Assessment, Evaluation, and Research in 2014, along with a Master of Science in Higher Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Classics from the University of Kentucky.
