Nick Hurd

Nick Hurd has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Nick started their professional career in 2005 as an Officer of Alumni Relations at North Central College. In 2007, they transitioned to Indian Prairie School District 204, where they worked as a Math Teacher until 2012, before becoming an Assistant Principal until 2018.

In 2018, Nick joined IXL Learning as a Professional Learning Specialist, where they provided support and training to educators. Nick eventually progressed to become a District Partnership Specialist, Senior District Partnership Specialist, and Lead District Partnership Specialist, showcasing their growth within the company. Currently, they hold the role of Professional Learning Lead, Midwest/Central, at IXL Learning.

Throughout their career, Nick has demonstrated a commitment to education and a passion for supporting teachers and schools in their professional development.

Nick Hurd pursued their education starting from 2001 to 2005 at North Central College, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching. Afterward, they continued their studies from 2010 to 2012 at Northern Illinois University, obtaining a masters degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, General.
