Ryan Perryman

Ryan Perryman has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Ryan started their career as a Middle School/High School Teacher in Southfield Public Schools from February 1999 to January 2001. Following that, they worked as an International Professional Athlete for the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) from February 2001 to March 2007, gaining valuable leadership skills as a team captain and winning two championships.

Ryan then transitioned to Unique Books, Inc. as the Ohio/Michigan Territory Manager from August 2007 to March 2009. Ryan successfully expanded sales territory to Michigan, resulting in a 40% increase in the client base.

From March 2009 to January 2017, Ryan worked at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, holding various roles. Ryan started as the Central Ohio Account Executive, where they achieved and exceeded quotas multiple times and received several awards. Ryan was also actively involved in developing pilot protocols and enhancing productivity as a member of internal focus groups. Ryan was then promoted to the Michigan Field Sales Manager role from January to December 2017, where they focused on driving sales growth and managing resources effectively. Finally, they held the position of Regional Sales Manager from January 2018 to June 2020, developing strategic marketing plans and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.

Most recently, Ryan has been associated with IXL Learning since June 2020. Ryan initially served as the Regional Sales Manager and was later promoted to the role of Senior Regional Sales Manager in July 2022.

Ryan Perryman earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English/Communications from the University of Dayton from 1994 to 1998.
