Bob Withers

Bob Withers has worked in the technology industry for over 30 years. Bob began their career in 1990 at Sybase as a Salesperson, where they were ranked in the Top Ten of Sybase world wide sales. In 2000, they joined Plumtree Software as an Area Sales Manager, achieving over 200% of quota and being ranked number one for would wide sales in 2000. Bob then moved to Novell as a Senior Territory Manager in 2002. In 2004, they joined Wily Technology as a Senior Territory Manager and developed new territory to include the closing of major accounts such at Kroger, P&G, Lexis Nexus, Chrysler and GM. In 2006, they joined Teradata as a Special Programs Manager & Security Officer, IC and Sales Director DoD & Intel, where they were responsible for building and managing the DoD & Intelligence Community sales and pre-sales engineering organization, and was successful in doubling the staff and tripling the revenue. In 2014, they joined New Relic, Inc. as Vice President Public Sector, where they were responsible for scaling the sales organization across the US Public Sector region. Bob then held the roles of Director Public Sector Sales and Enterprise Account Executive. In 2021, they joined ixlayer as Public Sector Director.

Bob Withers attended The Ohio State University from 1979 to 1983, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
