Matthew Dodd

Matthew Dodd is a highly experienced professional in engineering and research, currently serving as the Lead R&D Engineer for Global Trials at iyris since February 2023. Dodd has held multiple roles at iyris, including Senior Materials Engineer and Data Analyst, and Materials Engineer and Data Analyst. Additionally, Dodd has been a Rugby Player with Swansea RFC since August 2014. Academic achievements include a Postdoctoral Research position in Materials Engineering at Swansea University from November 2022 to January 2023, a Doctor of Engineering (EngD) in Materials and Manufacturing from Swansea University obtained between October 2018 and October 2022, and a Master’s in Engineering (MEng) in Mechanical Engineering earned from Swansea University from 2014 to 2018. Early education was completed at Olchfa School from 2007 to 2014.
