Sandra Carbone

Sandra Carbone is the current General Counsel & Corporate Secretary at IZEA. Sandra has held this position since December of 2015. Prior to their work at IZEA, Sandra worked as the Director, Associate Counsel at Darden Restaurants from July 2009 to December 2015. In this role, Sandra provided effective counsel to business partners in the areas of new business development, franchising, consumer insights, enterprise marketing, gift cards, human resources, supply chain and logistics, finance and treasury, tax, information technology, compliance and licensing. Sandra was also responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial agreements, consumer packaged goods and trademark licensing agreements, promotions, advertising materials, sponsorship agreements, cease and desist letters, filming location agreements, service agreements, non-disclosures, software, and purchasing contracts.

During their time at Darden Restaurants, Sandra was responsible for processing approximately 900 matters in one fiscal year while managing the work flow of two contract attorney resources, a contracts manager, a paralegal, and an assistant. Sandra also served as the lead resource for all supply chain and marketing contracts in efforts to integrate two newly-acquired restaurant brands, Yard House and Eddie V’s. In addition to these responsibilities, Sandra acted as a team member and advisor for multiple project teams from inception through launch, including new marketing and branding efforts for Red Lobster and Olive Garden, enterprise eGift Card program, and multi-million dollar digital platform renovation for

Sandra Carbone has a Doctor of Law from Stetson University College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Magazine Journalism from the University of Central Florida.

They are on a team with Peter Biere - CFO, Katie Mellor - VP, Client Services, and Kevin Blazaitis - VP, Client Development. Their manager is Ted Murphy, Founder, Chairman & CEO.
