The Scottish Legal Practice of J & H Mitchell W.S. was founded in Highland Perthshire in 1836.  

The firm attends to a wide range of business, notably:

Property (including Estate Agency and commercial conveyancing) Charity Law (for charities, charity trustees, community groups and volunteers) Agricultural Law (and estate factoring) Renewables, Wills, Powers of Attorney, Succession, Trusts and Executries.

There are currently three Partners – Paul Keith, Alan Innes and Sarah Brown. Colin Liddell is a Consultant and accredited as a specialist in Charity Law.

The firm has a client base throughout Highland Perthshire, many other parts of Scotland, England and overseas.  The firm's location is ideal, being within easy reach of all parts of Scotland, whilst enjoying the benefits of a rural base, well away from city stress, in a wonderful environment. Pitlochry is a tourist and recreational centre of considerable character which is particularly famed for its Pitlochry Festival Theatre, Hydro-Electric Dam and Salmon Ladder.
