J.HYDE was founded by optometrist and dispensing optician Vik Malhi after twenty years of putting frames on people’s faces and never finding one distinctive enough that he genuinely wanted to put on a client.
So he built them.

J.HYDE exists for the person who understands that eyewear is not a medical inconvenience. It is an extension of identity. The right frame does not sit on your face. It becomes part of it.

Three collections. Each built around how people actually live and who they want to be seen as.

Dr. J. For the professional who commands a room without trying.

HYDE. For the version of you that emerges after hours.

Signature. Made to order, open canvas. For those who want something that has never existed before.

Independent. Uncompromising.

Not for everyone. Deliberately.

Zeiss precision optics as standard. Studios in Birmingham city centre and Sutton Coldfield.
Define your presence.
