Jay Gembach

Jay Gembach has extensive experience in tax management, particularly within the mineral and property tax sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Mineral and Severance Tax at J. Joseph since April 2018, Jay Gembach previously held the position of Manager of Minerals and Severance Tax. Prior to this, Jay Gembach was a Sole Proprietor from August 2017 to April 2018 and worked as a Property Tax Manager at Industrial Tax Consulting for a brief period. Jay Gembach's long tenure at Consol Energy, from March 1995 to April 2017, included the role of Regional Manager for Property Tax, where responsibility involved providing property tax support for all CONSOL Energy companies. Jay Gembach earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mining Engineering from Virginia Tech from 1982 to 1987.
