JM Robertson & Co is a specialty brand steeped in history and defined by taste. Our journey began in Sri Lanka’s tea country during the era of British rule, where a tradition of craft took root. Today, that legacy continues in hand-picked teas and coffees from select estates, chosen for their character and provenance. For discerning hosts and distinguished establishments alike, we offer experiences that honour the past while embracing the present.

Strong Foundations in Speciality Coffee
Expansion has taken us far, but our core remains in speciality coffee. Our constant pursuit: quality. From farmer to roaster to barista, every link in our supply chain understands the craft and complexity of this delicate commodity — resulting in a cup that speaks for itself.

Where Tea Tells a Story
Rooted in generations of expertise, our teas marry timeless tradition with contemporary character. Grown and selected with care, each blend offers both comfort and distinction.

Concept Cafe
Department of Coffee by J.M. Robertson is a flagship space where the spirit of the great coffee houses meets the ease of a modern brunch table. It’s a place to linger over single-origin coffees, share generous plates, work in focus, or trade ideas. From Colombo to Muscat, each location blends local character with world-class craft — a setting shaped by our Sri Lankan roots, designed for conversations, connection, and a lasting atmosphere.
