Luiz Pretti holds a Licentiate degree in Metallurgical Engineering from FAAP and is currently the President of the Board of Directors at Votorantim Cimentos S.A. They began their career in 2005 at Cargill, where they served as Brazil's President starting in 2012, along with various leadership roles within Cargill's financial and agribusiness sectors. Pretti has also been a member of several boards, including Alvean, Copersucar S.A., and Grupo Martins, and currently participates in the governance of Aché Laboratórios and A.C. Camargo Cancer Center, among others.
