Jon Downs

Jon Downs is an experienced executive in the energy sector, currently serving as Enterprise Director for the Great Grid Partnership and Group Sector Director for Power at Murphy since October 2021. Previously, Jon held the position of Managing Director at Linxon from November 2019 to September 2021, and served for over two decades at ABB in various leadership roles, culminating as Hub Managing Director for Northern Europe. Notable achievements include managing significant projects as Construction & Operations Manager with National Grid, where Jon fostered collaboration among multiple organizations to enhance transmission network investments. Jon's early career also included a role as Contracts Engineer at Siemens. Jon holds an MBA in Business Administration from Henley Business School and a Diploma in Project Management from Lancaster University, along with additional educational experiences at IMD.
