Rania Fleifel

Rania Fleifel is a Research Associate at the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL), focusing on the Egypt Impact Lab initiative in collaboration with the Ministry of Planning, Economic Development, and International Cooperation. Rania has previously gained experience as a Data Science Intern at Data Glacier, where technical skills in the data science field were developed. As a Graduate Research Assistant at Zewail City of Science and Technology, Rania authored and presented a paper on spectrum occupancy prediction at IEEE-WCNC 2017. Rania has also completed trainee positions at Vodafone Egypt and SYSTEL, focusing on radio frequency operations and telecommunications training, respectively. Rania holds a Master of Science in Communication and Electronics from Cairo University, along with a bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering, and has pursued numerous professional nanodegrees in data analysis and machine learning from Udacity.
