Mel Smith

Mel Smith is an experienced professional in the construction and restoration industry, currently serving as Assistant Vice President and Director at J.S. Held LLC since May 2021. Prior to this, Mel held the position of Project Manager at BELFOR Property Restoration from October 2018 to May 2021. From September 2002 to September 2018, Mel was the President of Fixation Builders, Inc. Earlier career roles included Regional Manager for Northern California at Tempco Builders and Estimator at Re-Constructors. Mel earned an Associate of Science degree in Building/Home/Construction Inspection/Inspector from the College of San Mateo between 1990 and 1992.
