Eric Parks

Eric Parks is an experienced aviation professional with a career spanning over four decades. From January 1982 to August 1986, Eric served as a Corporate Pilot at United Bankers, managing single pilot operations with Cessna 414A and Beech Baron aircraft, which included a brief tenure at Air Spirit as a commuter airline pilot. Subsequently, Eric became a Captain at American Airlines from August 1986 to June 2024, specializing in the A320 in Charlotte, while also taking on roles as a PBS Advanced Class Instructor and Human Factors Facilitator. Earlier in the career, Eric worked as a Charter Pilot and Flight Instructor at Texas Aero. Currently, Eric is a volunteer with JAARS, Inc., contributing to Aviation Training efforts. Eric holds a Bachelor's degree in English Flight Technology from LeTourneau University, completed in 1981.
