Lars Runge

Lars Runge is an accomplished engineering executive with over 20 years of experience in technical leadership, particularly in AR/VR, LIDAR, and 3D sensing cameras for diverse applications including consumer, security, and automotive sectors. Currently serving as VP of Engineering Services at Jabil since May 2006, Lars has established and managed optical design and manufacturing capabilities across six countries, and has held various leadership positions, focusing on team development, global client service, and strategic business growth. Prior experience includes roles at ZEISS Group as a Test Engineer, contributing to test equipment development and quality analysis, and academic roles at the University of Applied Sciences Jena. Lars holds a Master of Engineering in Laser- and Optotechnologies and a Diplom Engineer in Electrical Engineering.
