Tom White

Tom White has a diverse work experience in the retail industry. Tom currently holds the position of Vice President of Sales & Service - Canada at Jacent, where they are responsible for managing sales and service operations. Previously, they worked as a Strategic Account Executive at Jacent, where they delivered merchandising solutions to retailers.

Before joining Jacent, Tom worked at Sobeys for several years in various leadership roles. Tom served as Vice President, Division Head of Sobeys Full Service Format, overseeing operations in Ontario. Additionally, they held the position of Senior Director of Merchandising and Commercial Programs, Director of Category Management, and Senior Director of Category Management Grocery at Sobeys.

Prior to their time at Sobeys, Tom worked at Metro (Food Basics) as a Store Operator and later as a Director of Category Management.

Tom started their career at The Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company Canada, where they held multiple roles, including Director of Non-Food/General Merchandise, Category Manager, Manager of Grocery Operations, Produce Merchandiser, and various store management positions.

Tom White attended Simcoe Composite from 1982 to 1987. Tom then pursued a Business Diploma at Fanshawe College from 1987 to 1989.
