Sam Coope is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in machine learning and artificial intelligence. Currently serving as the Founding Engineer at Jack & Jill since June 2025, Sam previously held the position of Founding AI Engineer at agomo, where the focus was on developing AI systems for software reasoning, including the launch of the CodeWords platform. Prior to these roles, Sam was at PolyAI from July 2018 to July 2023, progressing from Machine Learning Engineer to Lead Machine Learning Engineer. Earlier experience includes a role as a Deep Learning Research Engineer at DigitalGenius, contributing to advancements in text classification models and deep learning technologies. Educational background includes a degree from Imperial College London, attended from October 2013 to July 2017, and prior schooling at Bromsgrove School from January 2003 to January 2013.
