Abeer Ansari

Abeer Ansari is currently a Clinical Research Assistant at The Hospital for Sick Children, where responsibilities include supporting multiple clinical research studies in a high-volume Emergency Department and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure study compliance. Abeer also serves as a Staff Peer Counselor at Nisa Foundation and has held various roles at Jack.org, including Jack Talks Speaker and Mental Health Advocate, where Abeer promotes mental health awareness. Additional experience includes serving with the Erindale College Special Response Team in multiple training and medical responder capacities, as well as working as a Youth Advisor at the Knowledge Institute on Child and Youth Mental Health and Addictions and CAMH. Educational qualifications include a Master of Counselling Psychology from City University of Seattle and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto Mississauga.
