Ria Gupta

Ria Gupta is a dedicated professional in the field of counseling psychology, currently serving as a Practicum Therapist at No Fear Counselling since May 2025, and as a Student Project Assistant for the Early Alert program at The University of British Columbia since June 2023. Ria has actively contributed to mental health initiatives, including presenting on youth mental health at the Lets Talk Overdose conference in May 2024. With a strong background in academic support as an Academic Tutor for Varsity Tutors and a Mentor at topmate.io, Ria has assisted numerous students in various subjects and educational pursuits. Additionally, Ria has served in multiple roles including Peer Advisor for the Counselling Psychology Department and Clinic Coordinator at UBC Psychological Services, reflecting a commitment to supporting both peers and clients. Educationally, Ria is pursuing a Master of Education in Counseling Psychology at The University of British Columbia, building upon a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the same institution.
