Owen Watson has a diverse work experience in the field of art and animation. Owen started their career as a freelance animator and character designer at Hero4Hire Creative in 2014. Owen also worked as an animator at Nimblebot and Clambake Animation in 2015. In the same year, they worked as a freelance storyboard artist at Clambake Animation and a freelance animator at Hero4Hire Creative.
In 2013, Owen worked as an animator at Clambake Animation, where they notably worked on projects such as "Dick Genie" for Comedy Central's "Trip Tank" and commercials for Jay Peak Resort, Ruffles chips, and the NFL. Owen also worked as a director/animator at MindEdge, Inc during the same year.
In 2012, Owen served as a flash animation instructor and freelance animator at Small Factory Productions, where they taught courses on Adobe Flash and Stop-Motion animation and animated Create-A-Cartoon shorts.
More recently, Owen has been associated with Jackbox Games since 2016, initially serving as a digital artist and then being promoted to lead artist and currently as an art director. Throughout their career, Owen has gained extensive experience in various roles within the art and animation industry.
Owen Watson pursued their education in the field of Animation, Video Graphics, and Special Effects. From 2009 to 2011, they attended the Delaware College of Art and Design, where they obtained an Associate of Fine Arts (AFA) degree. Following this, they continued their education at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts from 2011 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in the same field.
