Spencer Ham has a diverse work experience in the creative and gaming industry. Spencer began their career at NogginLabs in 2010, working as a Content Producer until 2011. In 2011, they joined Jackbox Games as a Creative Director, leading a team of discipline leads in designing and creating original game concepts. Spencer also contributed to writing, editing, voice acting, and directing in over 30 gaming credits, and has four original game concepts credited to their name. In 2016, Spencer worked as a Writing Instructor at The Second City and as a Headline Contributor at The Onion. In 2014, they were a Contributing Writer at The New Yorker, and in 2009, they worked as a Contributing Writer at McSweeney's. Their most recent position is as a Senior Creative Director at Jackbox Games, starting in 2023.

Spencer Ham's education history includes attending the University of Missouri-Columbia from 2002 to 2006. During this time, Spencer pursued a degree in Theater with a field of study in English.
