Kris Becker

Kris Becker is an experienced library professional currently serving as the ILS Administrator at Jackson County Library Services since October 2022. Previously, Kris held the same position at Mount Prospect Public Library from April 2021 to October 2022. With a background in acquisitions, Kris worked as an Acquisitions Librarian at Jefferson County Library from May 2016 to July 2019 and again from July 2012 to June 2015. Kris also gained ILS Administration experience at Tennessee State Library and Archives from June 2015 to April 2016, and served as an Adult Reference Librarian at Hendersonville Public Library from March 2011 to June 2012. Early career roles included Cataloger at Lemont Public Library and Reference Librarian at White Oak Library System. Kris holds a Master's degree in Library and Information Science from Drexel University and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Lewis University.
