Jens Rueter

Jens Rueter currently serves as the Chief Medical Officer and Medical Director for the Maine Cancer Genomics Initiative at The Jackson Laboratory, where employment began in January 2012. In addition, Jens holds an Adjunct Faculty position. Since August 2010, Jens has been a Medical Oncologist and Hematologist at Eastern Maine Medical Center, also serving as Medical Director for the EMMC Translational Research Program. Prior experience includes a fellowship at Penn Medicine - University of Pennsylvania Health System from July 2007 to July 2010 and post-doctoral fellowships at Tulane University and Humboldt University of Berlin. Jens completed medical education at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, earning a Doctor of Medicine degree in 2000.
