Jiwon Yang

Jiwon Yang, PhD, MBA has a diverse work experience. Currently, they are working at The Jackson Laboratory as a Principal Scientist, where they have held roles as a Senior Scientist and Scientist as well. Prior to this, they worked as a Post Doctoral Fellow at the Burke Neurological Institute. They also have teaching experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Lecturer at Sookmyung Women's University. Additionally, they have worked as a Researcher at Stanford University School of Medicine and as a Pharmaceutical Intern at Wyeth Korea. In the earlier years of their career, they gained experience as an Intern Pharmacist at CHA medical center and as a Pharmacist Intern at Onnuri Pharmacy.

Jiwon Yang, PhD, MBA has a diverse education history. Jiwon earned their Bachelor of Pharmacy degree in Pharmacy from Sookmyung Women's University in 2009. Later, they pursued their passion for Therapeutic Pharmacy and completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in that field from Sookmyung Women's University in 2013. Recently, in 2023, Jiwon Yang obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of California, Davis - Graduate School of Management.
