Patrick Fleming is currently a Predoctoral Associate at The Jackson Laboratory's Robson Lab, starting in March 2025, focusing on the genetic regulatory networks associated with neurodevelopmental disorders through advanced human-derived brain organoid models. Previously, from June 2023 to August 2024, Patrick served as a Research Assistant I at the same laboratory, employing molecular and cellular biology techniques to investigate critical aspects of human evolution, development, and disease. Prior experience includes a role as an Undergraduate Research Assistant I at the University of Maine from September 2021 to May 2023, where Patrick researched immune cell signaling pathways and the impacts of toxic chemicals. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Biomedical Sciences from The University of Connecticut Health Center, commenced in August 2024, and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Maine earned in May 2023.
