Ryan Gorham, MB (ASCP), currently serves as Supervisor of Clinical Genomic Testing at The Jackson Laboratory since October 2020, where responsibilities include performing RNA and DNA extraction, next-generation sequencing library preparation, and managing PCR samples, including COVID-19. Ryan has expertise with various sequencing instruments and contributes to the development of standard operating procedures while supervising training and workflow improvements. Previous roles include Clinical Genomic Technologist positions and a Clinical Accessioning Technician role at The Jackson Laboratory, as well as experience as a lifeguard, swim instructor, and healthcare counselor. Education includes a Master of Science in Biology, focusing on Emerging Infectious Diseases, from the University of Saint Joseph and a Bachelor of Science in Biology, Health Sciences, from Emmanuel College.
