Sam Widmayer is an Associate Computational Scientist at The Jackson Laboratory since September 2022. Previously, Sam served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Northwestern University from August 2019 to July 2022 and as a Graduate Research Assistant at North Carolina State University from August 2014 to August 2019. Initial research experience includes working as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Delaware from June 2011 to June 2014 and as a Research Assistant at The Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine during the summer of 2010. Sam holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Genetics from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Ecology from the University of Delaware.
