Greg Smith is an experienced legal professional with a diverse background in workplace relations, safety, and environmental law. Currently, Greg serves as a Partner at Jackson McDonald and as a Director at Wayland Legal, roles undertaken since 2022 and 2018 respectively. Prior to these positions, Greg held various titles including Principal at Nexus Law Group, Legal Practice Director at STE Safety & Legal, and Principal Health & Safety Advisor at Woodside Energy. With significant expertise in health and safety risks, incident investigation, and contractor safety management, Greg has also contributed to legal education as a sessional academic at Curtin University. Greg's early career included a role as a Legal Officer in the Australian Army, providing legal support in military operations. Greg holds degrees in Law from The University of Western Australia.
