Aimee Flannery

Global Technology Leader – Transportation Risk & Resiliency

Aimee Flannery has a rich background in transportation engineering, holding a Ph.D. from Penn State University and both a Bachelor and Master's degree from Wayne State University. They served as an Associate Professor at George Mason University from 2000 to 2011, where they taught and conducted research in the field. After that, Aimee was the Director of Transportation at Applied Engineering Management from 2011 to 2020, focusing on business development at the intersection of IT and transportation services. Currently, they are the Global Technology Leader for Transportation Risk & Resiliency at Jacobs, furthering their expertise in transportation resiliency and supporting agencies in evaluating system performance. Prior to this role, Aimee was a Surface Transportation Analyst with the US Department of Transportation from 2020 to 2022.
