Andrew MacConnell

Andrew MacConnell is a Senior Structural Engineer at Jacobs, bringing five years of experience to the Buildings Structures team in London. They have designed structures for prestigious projects in Saudi Arabia and led the design of large substation buildings in the UK. In 2023, Andrew undertook a six-month secondment in the Marine & Coastal team in Dubai, where they worked on major engineering projects, including coastal designs for new islands. Prior to their current role, they worked in the Nuclear & Defence team in Glasgow on a significant UK defense project. Andrew graduated with a Master’s degree with Distinction in Civil Engineering from the University of Strathclyde in June 2020.
