Andy McConkey

Andy McConkey is an accomplished professional in water and environmental management, currently serving as the Owner and Executive Director of McConks UK since October 2015. With a passion for inclusivity in watersports, Andy co-founded McConks to challenge elitism in the industry. Prior to this venture, Andy held significant roles at Jacobs, progressing from Technical Director in Water and Environment to Senior Associate Director in Water Catchment Management since January 2003. Additionally, a long-standing Committee Member of the Professional Standards Committee at CIWEM since July 2009, Andy has also worked as a Water Quality Regulatory Officer at the Environment Agency from February 2000 to February 2003. Academically, Andy holds A-levels in Sciences from Bishop of Llandaff and a B.Sc (Hons) in Marine and Environmental Biology from the University of St Andrews.
