Benjamin Shawley

Benjamin Shawley is an accomplished RF Engineer with extensive experience in both airborne and space-based systems. Currently serving as the RF Engineering Manager and Senior RF Engineer at Jacobs since March 2020, Benjamin leads multiple RF payload projects and oversees a $200 million space-based array program. As a co-owner and technologist at Black Owl Technologies since December 2016, Benjamin specializes in high-performance Integrated Microwave Assemblies for advanced defense platforms and manages customer relationships and technical proposals. Prior roles include Principal RF Systems Engineer at MacAulay-Brown, Inc., Senior RF Engineer at TTM Technologies focusing on defense applications, and earlier engineering positions at LIFEPlanccony and Thales, where foundational skills in RF design and testing were developed. Benjamin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in RF Design from Penn State University.
