Devyani Kar

Devyani Kar, PhD, PMP, CFM, is a Principal Resilience Scientist at Jacobs and a Climate Change Network Specialist Panel Member at CIWEM. They have extensive expertise in climate-change adaptation, natural infrastructure, and disaster management, having previously served as a Senior Manager and Scientist at the Environmental Defense Fund and a Coastal Resources Scientist Manager at the Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority of Louisiana. Devyani is currently pursuing a PhD at Louisiana State University and a Master's in Environmental Management at Duke University. Their contributions include serving on the Board of Directors for the Coalition to Restore Coastal Louisiana and as a Board Member for The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine’s Gulf Environment Protection and Stewardship Board.
