Douglas Smith

Douglas Smith is currently a Principal Project Manager at Jacobs Engineering, where they have worked since 2007, managing significant projects such as the Dallas Water Utilities Tawakoni Pipeline and the Fort Worth Stormwater GIS Program. Prior to their role at Jacobs, they served as a Principal Project Manager at CH2M HILL from 1984 to 2007, overseeing various conveyance and reuse projects, including the Geysers Recharge Project. Smith began their career as an Agricultural Engineer with the USDA NRCS in Grand Junction, CO, where they designed agricultural conveyance systems. They hold a Master of Science in Agricultural Engineering from Colorado State University and an MBA in Finance from Purdue University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Engineering from Oklahoma State University.
